Total US measured advertising spending is projected to increase 4.2% in 2008. Measured expenditures are forecast to grow by 3.6% in the first half of 2008 followed by a gain of 4.7% in the second half.

why no operating system standards?
on most home computers you can install windows and have a stable operating system that you can use most any windows compatable software. The technology is here, why cant they do this with cell phones? At least let us have a open source operating system option that we can use without having to hack our cell phones. I swear it is almost like another format war going on here. and I don't think that any of them know how much $$$ they are losing because of this.. If I buy a home computer, it has a hardware profile listed on the box that I can see before I buy it. Is that so hard with a cell phone?
