Total US measured advertising spending is projected to increase 4.2% in 2008. Measured expenditures are forecast to grow by 3.6% in the first half of 2008 followed by a gain of 4.7% in the second half.

Well prepare yourself for N11 -- a term created by Goldman Sachs to describe the 11 countries just behind economic powerhouses such as China, India, Russia and Brazil. The 11 specifically refers to: Bangladesh, Egypt, Indonesia, Iran, South Korea, Mexico, Nigeria, Pakistan, the Philippines, Turkey and Vietnam.

BRIC investing: India’s key inflation rate surged to a near three-and-a-half-year high, staying well above the central bank’s upper tolerance limit for the sixth successive week.This has raised the likelihood that despite signs of a slowing economy the Reserve Bank of India will retain or tighten its policy stance when it meets April 29, analysts said. The wholesale price index-based inflation rate accelerated to 7.41% on year in the week ended March 29 from 7.00% a week earlier...highest since 2004. I like Brazillian bonds at over 12% coupon.
