Today's Featured Company / Person - Swoopo - Swoopo is an auction site that will have bargain hunters coming back for more. The site is characterized by an endless collection of tech items and gadget such as LCD High Definition Televisions as well as computer parts and accessories like printers and the like. The mechanics of the site are clearly explained online. In a nutshell, auctions start at 15c and there are no reserve prices. The price goes up in 15c increments, and there is a small charge for each bid that gets placed. According to the site, that’s why the prices are so cheap. The auction itself has something of a twist – if bids are placed in the exact moment the auction is ending, the auction itself is extended 20 additional seconds. As any seasoned eBayer can tell you, the final minute when it comes to a hot item is absolutely crucial, and an approach like this one is bound to have bidders fighting inch by inch.
