Radio stations’ annual revenue growth will average 3.2%, reaching $28.7 billion by 2016, according to SNL Kagan. Radio stations will finish 2007 with a 1.5% drop in revenue excluding nonspot sales. Radio sales will drop to less than $20 bln in 2007, compared with $20.1 bln in 2006, again excluding nonspot sales. A revenue total including nonspot slightly mitigates the decline to a projected 0.8% for 2007.

Will the feel and sound of a page turning be missed or will readers rather have their eBook Reader filled with 80 novels to take on the go? Interesting Book Statics
This year publishers in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia and New Zealand will released over 400,000 new titles and editions of book. Anglo-American publishers published 80% of all new English-language books, while the U.S. alone accounted for 52% of the total.
